rose above poverty

The Jessie F. Richardson Foundation

works to help elders have lives fully lived, to age with purpose and dignity. Beyond addressing immediate needs such as food, shelter and care, JFR helps elders remain a vital element of life in the communities where they live. Our programs address immediate needs, promote self-help and reciprocity, and foster intergenerational involvement.

Please join us in bridging the gap for elders, families, and communities as we support strategies to address the changing face of aging both in the United States and around the globe.
