INTERNATIONAL VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
JFRF believes in helping local people solve local problems. If you’d like to share your experience, technical skills and abilities to help committed, dedicated Nicaraguans strengthen their communities, you can travel as an international volunteer or work from home to assist Nicaraguan communities in need.
Volunteers have included translators, medical professionals, therapists, trainers, educators, engineers and contractors. Opportunities are available in many areas. JFRF provides in-country assistance to support volunteers.
See our video (to the right) to learn more about the impact our volunteers and supporters can have.
UNITED STATES VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
JFRF has local volunteer opportunities to benefit programs in Oregon and beyond. Some volunteer opportunities have included event support, peer navigators and administrative support.
JOIN OUR GOVERNING OR ADVISORY BODIES
JFRF periodically seeks new members to join our Board of Directors, Advisory Council or Board Committees. Prospective members should have a passion for JFRF and a desire to serve older adults. As a Board, Council or Committee member, you will drive strategic direction, ensure JFRF achieves its mission and goals, and enhance JFRF’s public standing by cultivating and leveraging connections and resources that can further our initiatives.
If you are interested in serving on the Board of Directors at JFRF, contact Keren Brown Wilson, CEO and Founder, at kwilson@jfrfoundation.org.
