ANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT IN NORTH CAROLINA – BENEFITING NICARAGUAN ELDERS
The North Carolina long term care community began its relationship with JFRF and the elders of Nicaragua in 2006. This long-standing partnership has had a tremendous impact on the lives of many elders.
TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE AND INDIVIDUAL SKILL DEVELOPMENT
One of the cornerstones of our activities is providing technical assistance nationally to state and national governmental agencies and other organizations. JFRF advocates and supports affordable care options, quality assurance efforts, appropriate regulatory oversight and training.
HOUSING AND SERVICES COLLABORATIVE
JFRF is developing a new model of housing with health related and social services for seniors that utilizes existing resources, unites local partners and engages mission-driven community members.
ADVOCACY AND LEADERSHIP
JFRF empowers communities by educating individuals and organizations so they can use their collective voice to raise awareness around issues affecting them. This is where you will find JFRF’s briefing papers.
Our Intergenerational Program aims to bring community youth and older adults together in purposeful, mutually beneficial activities and initiatives by promoting a greater understanding and respect between generations.
SPANISH LANGUAGE CAREGIVER TRAINING PROGRAM
JFRF is in the development stages of this new and exciting program to help improve eldercare services to older adults and their caregivers living in remote and developing areas.
